THE CHALLENGE: Create the visual identity for Maritimo - the largest shopping center in Constanta County, Romania, that could enclose the dynamics and the energy of the maritime environment, the idea of entertainment variety and intersecting roads. 

THE CONTEXT: Maritimo Shopping Center, developed by IMOFINANZ Group represents the most important retail structure in Constanta. With an area of 50,000 sqm Maritimo includes, among others, an Auchan hypermarket, Inditex clothing brands, C&A stores, New Yorker, Deichmann, Flanco, Humanic, Takko or Zoomania.

THE CONCEPT: The logo was inspired by the more dynamic aspects of architecture such as Walt Disney Hall by Frank Gehry, but also by the characteristics of Constanta, situated on the sea coast.

Its dynamic shapes reflect the waves energy, the intense colours of summer accessories and the forms of fancy female shoes. On the other hand, the logotype characteristics form an analogy of the colonnade on the facade of the mall.
